Two week stays

Two weeks is perhaps the idea length of holiday for most people.  As you are only just winding down properly by the end of a week, it’s often in the second week that most benefits are really felt.  That said, towards the end of a two week break, you might be starting to think about what’s in store for you back in the office when you get home.

Two weeks allows for more immersive travel experiences, or travelling further away on long-haul trips, or to multiple destinations. You will have plenty of time to relax and explore, without feeling rushed.  You can plan something really exciting for a two week trip, such as an adventurous road trip, or a dual holiday where you might do activities for one week (such as a safari), and then relax on a beach for the second week.

Ideas for a two week trip:

Canada Badlands & Prairies Road Trip

Get off the beaten track on this less well travelled path east from Calgary, driving from Alberta into Saskatchewan to the remote and tranquil Grasslands National Park.  Explore the runnels of Moose Jaw, find Mounties in Regina, learn about indigenous customs in Saskatoon, and dinosaurs in Drumheller. It’s quite the ride…

Classic California Road Trip

The coastal drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco is a classic for a reason – stunning coastal views, the towering trees of Big Sur, sea otters hiding in the kelp, history in Monterey, and wine in Sonoma if you follow our detour.  The perfect vacation sandwich – 2 iconic cities either side of the coastal drive.
