The United Arab Emirates (UAE), or Emirates as it is known, was only founded in 1971 and so is relatively young. It is comprised to 7 Emirates, including Abu Dhabi and neighbouring Dubai.
Abu Dhabi (the capital) and Dubai (the largest city) have benefitted from incredible recent development, with shiny modern buildings rising from desert landscapes and offering the best in hospitality, entertainment and shopping. You can still experience the old ways of the cities if you decide to seek them out, or just enjoy the bling. Either way…
Dubai
Dubai rises from the desert in a surprising and spectacular way, with a host of exclusive hotels and attractions built out into the Arabian Gulf, such as the famous Jumeriah Palm.
Dubai is like an adventure playground, for kids and adults alike, with high end shopping, restaurants, water parks, high adrenalin activities and record breaking buildings such as the World’s tallest, the Burj Khalifa. It’s quite something!
